Hottest Bond Girls

A View to a Kill - Tanya Roberts

It has been announced today that Tanya Roberts, who played Stacey Sutton in “A View to a Kill” alongside Roger Moore has died.

Whilst “A View to a Kill” was not a classic Bond film in the usual sense, and the rather two-dimensional character of Stacey was not a great match to Tanya’s acting skills, we thought we would take this opportunity to look at the hottest Bond girls from the films in tribute to her.

The swansong for Roger Moore as Bond was also one of his best with Christopher Walken as the suitably psychopathic bad guy Max Zorin. Tanya Roberts played the role of the gorgeous geologist and oil-heiress Stacey Sutton.

However, the less said about the other Bond “girl” played by Grace Jones the better…

5. Lupe Lamora (Talisa Soto) – Licence to Kill

5. Lupe Lamora (Talisa Soto) – Licence to Kill

Starring alongside Timothy Dalton in one of the grittiest ever Bond films was Talisa Soto in the role of Lupe Lamora. Easily outshining the official Bond girl, played by the plainest of all the Bond Girls – Carey Lowell – you either loved Lupe or you didn’t. We did.

4. Solitaire (Jane Seymour) – Live and Let Die

4. Solitaire (Jane Seymour) – Live and Let Die

Probably the most naturally beautiful of all the Bond girls British beauty Jane Seymour made for a stunning Bond girl in one of the most far-fetched storylines in the series.

3. Dr. Christmas Jones (Denise Richards) – The World is Not Enough

3. Dr. Christmas Jones (Denise Richards) – The World is Not Enough

Playing Dr. Christmas Jones in The World is Not Enough entitled Denise Richards to be the target of one of James Bond’s famous one-liners “I though Christmas only came once a year”.

Although Denise has the acting talent of a wooden board, and makes you wonder exactly how the character got her doctorate, she was fabulous to look at. Like most Pierce Brosnan-era Bond films (with the exception of Goldeneye) this film is best watched with the sound off.

2. Miranda Frost (Rosamund Pike) – Die Another Day

2. Miranda Frost (Rosamund Pike) – Die Another Day

Surely the worst of all the Bond films, with its’ ludicrous storylines and gadgets (invisible Aston Martin anyone?) it also was the first time I ever clapped eyes on Rosamund Pike and I was smitten. I don’t care what she was saying, it was that face, body and accent that did it for me.

1. Vesper Lynd (Eva Green) – Casino Royale

1. Vesper Lynd (Eva Green) – Casino Royale

Bond was back with a bang in Casino Royale with a new James Bond in Daniel Craig and with the spectacular Eva Green as Vesper Lynd. Whilst there have been more beautiful Bond girls in the series it is Eva’s body and pure sexiness that leads her into first place. What a pair of boobs!

Sexist? Yes, possibly.
