For want of a better phrase I call that “Brannigan’s Law”.

There are many views as to what the best part of a woman is, and in itself the question can be seen as sexist. Perhaps it is, perhaps not depending on your point of view.

Many men are “leg” men, some are “ass” men, and some – like yours truly – are definitely “boob” men. Hence Love Boobs!

Is it really the case that men are attracted to the breasts first and foremost? Well as babies we innately look for the breast for food so perhaps it stems from that influence. Were “ass” or “leg” men denied the breast as a baby? Were they bottle fed? Perhaps some academic somewhere is researching this subject right now. I am not that academic and this is not an academic blog!

Personally, I am not sure whether a great pair of boobs makes a woman more attractive to all straight men (and women who like other women) but it certainly does for me. Size isn’t as important as shape.

However, I would put forward there are two things much more important than boobies and that Zapp is wrong. These are the face and the personality.

Obviously it is difficult to be able to judge personality from a photo but you can see the face. Just like it isn’t about size of boobies it isn’t necessarily about the perceived beauty of the face but other things we pick up on – the light in the eyes, the smile, etc. and these all give some idea of the personality within.

A beautiful but hard-faced babe is less likely to attract my attention than a less-than-perfect girl with a smile not only on her lips but also in her eyes. It gives a clue to what is really important and, ultimately, the sexiest thing of all about anyone. Our personalities.

To return to Futurama – Leela is far sexier than Amy as she has personality whereas Amy is beautiful but ultimately very shallow. Okay, she has big boobs too and that always helps along the way.

Susanna, who is unbelievably 50 years old, wore the pink silk outfit, which prompted many wags on social media to claim she had not had time to get dressed that morning after being out on the razz all night before presenting the Good Morning Britain (GMB) programme.

Susanna hit back on Instagram with a post that said: ‘I just want to point out, I did get dressed this morning. I haven’t come in my dressing gown.’

After fellow GMB host Kate Garraway scaled back her involvement with the programme to help her husband recover from Covid-19 this leaves Susanna as the best thing on early morning television to bring a male round in a hurry.

I remember when I was at school, many years ago now, we used to have compulsory swimming lessons – which I hated. I had just moved to the area with my family and where I lived before we didn’t have swimming lessons as part of the school week.

One day the hottest girl in the class – called Sarah – had a new swimsuit, and she looked very fine, as the whiteness of the material really made her dark hair stand out. However, unknown to Sarah her swimsuit, which was white, had now become a shade of transparent and when she stepped out of the pool all eyes went on her. There has been a temptation, which I have so far resisted, to have a water fight with hoses and everything outdoors and the thought of this as well as thinking back about Sarah brought me to the idea of a wet t-shirt competition.

Released 25 years ago, on 8 July 1996, Wannabe spent seven weeks at number one in the UK and four in the US. In the process, it made five previously unknown girls – Victoria Adams (Posh), Melanie Brown (Scary), Emma Bunton (Baby), Melanie Chisholm (Sporty) and Geraldine ‘Geri’ Halliwell (Ginger) – into global superstars for a time.

I remember the seeing the video for the first time and the first thing that caught my eyes was Melanie Brown’s pokies. Not because I thought she was attractive, no. Because they were so obvious.

Really. And that was it. Other than that, in my eyes, it was typical pop pap, gone in five minutes.

Only they went on to become global superstars and had a movie to boot. It was bloody awful.

However, one of them caught my eye. That would be Ginger Spice, aka Geri Halliwell.

Now I know what you’re thinking – what about Posh Spice, or even Baby Spice? Not for me, thanks. It’s all about the boobs.

Time moves on and some of them got married and had babies. Victoria Adams became Victoria Beckham (Posh and Becks), Melanie Brown had her fling with Eddie Murphy, and my beloved Geri went and married Christian Horner, the team boss at the Red Bull F1 team. Lucky bastard.

Now Posh Spice looks like Plastic Spice, Baby Spice looks like Old Spice, Sporty Spice looks decidedly unsporty, and Ginger Spice is no longer ginger but still as sexy as anything.

Oh, and in the photo gallery below you will see evidence that – if you weren’t already aware (!) – that Ginger Spice does not have matching collars and cuffs!

Now the show itself would be forgettable if it wasn’t for one thing and that would be the three main lead female characters. Don’t ask me to name their characters without referring to IMDB but I remember the actresses – Lark Voorhies, Elizabeth Berkeley, and – above all else – Tiffani-Amber Thiessen.

For some reason, back in the day, I wasn’t as into Tiffani as many other boys were – I suppose even at that early age I liked big boobs and she was almost as flat as a pancake, but still I was smitten.

Over the years the TV career of all three seemed to fade, some more than others. Elizabeth Berkeley got her kit off in some film about strippers called “Showgirls” – I’ve never watched the film but will own up to watching the important clips! Lark Voorhies seemed to completely disappear without a trace and Tiffani-Amber Thiessen became Tiffani Thiessen. She also did some rather racy photos on the beach.

The other day I was flicking around Netflix, or Amazon, or somewhere and came across an old show called “White Collar” which included a very familar face – Tiffani Thiessen. I could not believe my eyes as she looked simply stunning and had grown into a gorgeous MILF!

If anything Tiffani looks better now than she did back in the early 1990s. Just like her co-star Elizabeth Berkeley she has got seriously hot over the intervening years. I’m not sure if she had a boob job or any other work done, but if she did it was much better and more natural-looking than her co-stars!

I do remember when Britney hit the world stage as a singer, it seemed to hit at a particular period in my life when I – certainly not someone into pop performers – seemed to have a soft spot for Ms Spears and her particular brand of music. Some of it seems lame now, listening back, but equally some of it still stands the test of time. It wasn’t just about the music, but the way she looked and the way she moved. Who could ever forget Britney dressed as a sexy schoolgirl?

Despite all her skimpy costumes, although she never went nude, she managed to still remain an incredibly sexy woman – despite the “schoolgirl” days being a half a lifetime ago.

Mental health issues are no joking matter, and the press coverage back in the day was predictably nasty. So I will wish Britney well with her fight, now and going forward.

I have never been a “leg man”, or particularly an “ass man” either. However, as time has gone by I have learnt to appreciate the bigger picture and that means that I have been drawn more and more towards women with a beautiful ass.

Whether you prefer to call them an “ass”, “arse”, “butt”, or whatever they are the thing we all have and all sit on. I’m sat on my bigger-than-I’d-want-it-to-be one now writing this!

I’m not sure exactly what makes the best type of ass, as when I look at those I have appreciated they are quite different. Big and round, small and pert, they are all great. Call me picky but the one type I am not bothered about is the big and flabby – but those women usually have it going on round the front instead so I am a happy man!

All I know is that I certainly know now how to appreciate a great ass.
