Speaking to the Chanel Connects podcast, the actress said: “I don’t have an absolute ban [on filming nude scenes], but I kind of do with men.

“It’s partly vanity and also it’s the male gaze,” the 35-year-old explained.

Knightley has previously revealed she has had a “no nudity clause” added to her film contracts since becoming a mother in 2015.

Now I know the first time I ever clapped eyes on Ms. Knightley was in the Pirates of the Caribbean films where she showed a modest amount of cleavage. Oh, how that was a lie she sold to us all.

In all honesty Keira Knightley no longer filming nude scenes is no great loss as there are more lumps and bumps on a straight-edged ruler. I am, and have never been, a great fan of seeing her with her clothes off – she is one of only a handful of actresses who look better with their clothes on.

Having said everything I’ve said, I still respect her for what she did regarding the photoshopping of actresses bodies – it isn’t right or fair on the actress or those of us who later found out her boobs were not quite so voluptuous as they looked.

However, to say that she would only consider it for a female director because of the “male gaze” is somewhat off the mark. Does she think that just because the director is female and there are no males in attendance when it is filmed (other than those that have to be) it will mean that guys are not going to watch the film – or knowing Ms. Knightley’s films, obtain screen caps instead – just for the boobies? No. Because boobs.

If you don’t like appearing nude then don’t accept roles that involve it. Otherwise pocket those $$$$ and don’t give a fuck. If you don’t then some other actress surely will.

This isn’t always the case and these days there are plenty of actresses in Hollywood and on television who do not fit into that mould, literally.

Gone are the days when small-chested women would be expected to turn up to their next casting call looking like Pamela Anderson, and that is just great in my view.

And it isn’t just the big and small screens that see the growing number of female celebrities who have small boobs. The same trend also seems to be showing in the field of music as well. Here are the top five of my current small-boob crushes:

5 – Ariana Grande

Ariana attracts a great number of teenage, and pre-teen, fans for her singing talents, but it just sounds awful to my ear. I prefer to look at her for her other obvious talent – how fantastic she looks (shame about the sound).

4 – Daisey Ridley

Gorgeous Daisey hails from the United Kingdom and has starred in something called “Star Wars”, apparently. Not my cup of Earl Grey, but Daisey is.

3 – Natalie Portman

Continuing the theme, I cannot think of a single film, or whatever, that the glorious Ms Portman has been in that I have watched. I’m sure I might watch something just because she is in it though…

2 – Emma Watson

I feel a distinct pattern so far with the celebrities I have in my list – I hate their work to date – and this continues with the gorgeous Emma Watson. Harry Potter – never seen it, don’t want to. But I do want to see more of Emma, who doesn’t understand all the fuss about her tits. Good for you, Emma!

1 – Taylor Swift

Well, who else could it be? Rounding out the top five of my small-boobed celebrity crushes is the gorgeous, delectable, sexy, and hugely-talented Taylor Swift. I say hugely talented because I respect her song-writing skills, but – surprise, surprise – cannot stand listening to her songs.
